July 31, 2020 was the last day of operations for New Dawn Christian Family Services dba Asian American Christian Counseling Service (AACCS). We are grateful for the privilege and trust you placed in our agency and clinicians to provide services to you and your family for more than 34 years.
In accordance with California law, the records of adult clients will be stored until August 1, 2027; and the records of minors (under the age of 18) who are the primary clients of New Dawn/AACCS will be stored until the minor reaches his or her 25th birthday. After those dates, the records will be destroyed in accordance with law.
The records storage company holding your clinical records is Vital Records Control (VRC) which merged on August 1, 2024 with URM Technologies, the previous records storage company selected by New Dawn/AACCS. Many of URM employees have been retained and will continue to service your records request needs going forward. To learn more about VRC, you may visit their website at vitalrecordscontrol.com.

Should you need a copy of your clinical or client records, please call VRC’s local office at (661) 705-0550 OR email VRC at: service-lax@vrcofca.com.
Inform VRC that your records are stored under the name New Dawn Christian Family Services dba AACCS. Be prepared to give them verification of your identity–usually your DOB or last four digits of your social security number. They will then instruct you on the records request process.
